Gabe Kovach will be our guest musician on March 4th. He and Larry will be performing Mozart’s 3rd Horn Concerto. Gabriel, born in Philadelphia, PA, is active as both a chamber and orchestral musician. Mr. Kovach has been Principal Horn of the Phoenix Symphony since 2006.

We always need seven or eight individuals to serve dinner at this monthly United Methodist Outreach Ministry (UMOM) event.

Families with teenagers 14 years old or older are welcome to join us. We always receive more than we give when we go and it provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate and practice our Christian faith. We leave CCOV at 4PM and are usually back around 7:30 PM.

Our guest soloist for the Sunday service on February 4th will be violinist Daga Suchoń. She will join with our music director, Larry Loeber, for a program featuring music from her native country of Poland, including works by Paderewski, Wienawski, and the exciting “Oberek” dance by Bacewicz. Our Christmas Eve Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Sunday, December 24th. We will be joined at that service by Magdalena Martinic-Jercic, Associate Concertmaster of the Phoenix Symphony. This will be Maggie’s second appearance at CCOV. She and Larry will be offering a program of both holiday and classical selections.

There will NOT be any 10 AM worship that day. Please plan to join us for our traditional Christmas Eve service.
