Program for Sunday, June 24th

Dorie Roepke grew up close to the Dragoon Mountains where the Cochise Stronghold existed.

She became interested in the spiritual beliefs of Native Americans.  Their beliefs were steeped in a spiritual existence.  Come and discuss the correlates to Christianity through the writings of Native American Chiefs.

Summer Services Begin on June 3rd

On Sunday, June 3rd we will return to our Summer tradition of informal, often educational, and joyous gatherings in Hayden Hall as an alternative to normal Sunday worship. We will begin at 10a as usual and we will share light snacks and informal talks in an effort to gain a closer Christian bond with each other through fellowship.

On June 3, the topic will be “My Mother’s/Father’s Child.”  The scriptures we will cover can be found in Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4.  Dorie will be our leader.

Our Pastor, Sandi Anthony, will lead a communion service on June 10.

On June 17, Bob Simington will lead a discussion on “What is your concept of God?” This is a good opportunity for us to share our understanding of God and to learn from each other on this interesting topic.

On July 1, Gary Wolfe will begin a series, “Getting to Know You.”  This is a series that will acquaint other members about lives of individuals in our congregation.

Stay tuned for more information as our schedule evolves. Please contact Dorie if you are interesting in sharing or leading in one of these sessions.
